Collapse branches you don’t need, zoom from 30 to 200 percent with a Fit control, and let semantic zoom compact the nodes as you pull back. Department tinting helps large structures remain readable at a glance.

Yes. Zenpo does not replace your HR system or require you to move workforce data into a separate Zenpo database. Org Chart reads from a SharePoint list or a CSV stored in a document library in the current site, so workforce data exported or synchronized from the HR systems you already use can become the source for the chart.
Yes. Point Org Chart at a CSV stored in a SharePoint document library and map the fields that define people and reporting relationships. Delimiters are detected automatically, and ID and parent ID fields can define the hierarchy. This makes CSV a practical option when your HR system already produces workforce exports.
No. If the data already exists in an HR system, you can continue managing it there and provide Org Chart with the SharePoint list or CSV representation it needs. Zenpo does not become another system of record your HR team has to maintain.
Yes. Org Chart can represent people who are part of the organization but do not fit neatly into the employee directory, including contractors and other external participants. They can be identified separately in the source data and rendered with a distinct EXTERNAL treatment in the chart.
Yes. A person can have multiple managers or parent relationships, allowing Org Chart to represent matrix teams, committees, project organizations and other structures that do not fit into a single manager-to-employee tree. Multiple relationships render as merged connections instead of forcing the organization into an artificial hierarchy.
No. Org Chart reads the SharePoint list or CSV using the signed-in user’s existing SharePoint access. It does not require Microsoft Graph calls, additional Graph permissions, admin consent, or complete Entra ID manager relationships to build the hierarchy.
No. The organization data remains in the SharePoint list or CSV in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Org Chart renders that data inside SharePoint rather than creating a separate hosted employee database.
Org Chart is designed to surface problems such as missing references, circular relationships and self-referencing records instead of simply breaking the page. People without a valid manager can remain visible at the root or in an Unassigned group you control, making imperfect workforce data manageable while it is corrected.
Nothing happens to it. Your workforce data remains your SharePoint list or CSV in your tenant. Removing Zenpo Org Chart does not remove, migrate or take ownership of the underlying data.
No. Zenpo is the visualization layer, not the system of record. Your HR system remains your HR system, SharePoint remains your content platform, and the workforce data stays under your control.
